Title I

All seventeen GESD schools qualify for Title 1 federal funds which are used to supplement instructional program. Title 1 funds are allocated based on the number of students are each school who qualify for free or reduced lunch. Title 1 services vary from school to school based on the school improvement plan. For example, some schools provide after-school tutoring while others may have small groups for reading intervention during the day. For specific information, please call your school offices.
