Food and Nutrition

Nourishing Minds, Fueling Learning

At Glendale Elementary School District, our Food and Nutrition Department is dedicated to supporting student success through healthy meals. Every school day, we provide balanced and nutritious breakfasts and lunches. Our menus emphasize wholesome choices, including low-fat dairy products, lean poultry, whole-grain breads, and a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables.

Free Meals for Every Student

All students in the district receive breakfast and lunch at no cost for the 2025–2026 school year thanks to the Community Eligibility Provision.

While this program is in place, families do not need to apply for free or reduced-price meals. However, families will be asked to complete the simplified Alternate Income Form to collect important data used for each school’s federal funding allocations.

If you have any questions, please contact Cristal Fuentes at 623-237-6244.

Helping Students Succeed

Healthy, accessible meals are essential to learning. Children who eat well are better equipped to focus, engage, and grow. By providing nutritious meals and inclusive support, we ensure that every student is nourished both physically and mentally.
