Curriculum & Instruction

Elevating Every Student, Every Day

At Glendale Elementary School District, our Curriculum and Instruction team is dedicated to ensuring every student has access to a guaranteed and viable curriculum, rigorous instruction, and a balanced system of assessments. Our focus is on eliminating opportunity and achievement gaps so that all students are equipped to thrive in school and beyond.

How We Collaborate for Student Success

We believe in collective impact. Educators and administrators work together through structured professional learning teams to continuously improve instruction. We focus on answering four essential questions:

  1. What should our students know and be able to do?

  2. How will we know when they truly know or can do it?

  3. What steps will we take when students are not learning it yet?

  4. How will we enrich learning for students who have already mastered it?
