Land Acknowledgment

The Glendale Elementary School District respectfully acknowledges that our district resides on the ancestral lands of the Tohono O'odham Nation. We further recognize that the State of Arizona is home to 22 sovereign Tribal Nations. GESD is honored to recognize and pay tribute to the rich cultures, traditions, and significant contributions of Indigenous peoples across our nation. We deeply value and celebrate the historical legacies and ongoing presence of our Native American students, staff, families, and community members.
