In science we have studied atoms, the periodic table, chemical reactions, motion and momentum. We also did some presentations throughout the year. Each student picks a topic to study and to learn about. Later on we share what we have learned to the rest of the class.
In math we are investigating Geometry. We have learned how to draw line plots, stem and leaf plots, and box and whisker plots. Right after the break we started on a whole new topic. We are learning to find the GCF, which means Greatest Common Factor, with a factorization tree.
Second step helps students learn how to work out their problems. Students do projects, role plays, and other activities to help them learn new skills.
