Ms. Hammerl's Classroom
Ms. Hammerl's Biography Ms. Rose Hammerl lives in Phoenix, Arizona. She attended GCC, ASU, NAU. Ms. Hammerl has been teaching for 11 years, all of which are at Horizon. On her free time she enjoys reading intermediate grade level books to keep in touch with former students.  Activities
We went to the Glendale Adult Center for Grandma's House. Each student spent the day visiting, making crafts, and eating lunch with their "Grandma" for the day.
We had a pet hamster Osito but it passed away. We have tadpoles, and are studying life cycles metamorphisis and the food chain. We also have lady bug larva and ants.
We are studying about continents, oceans, maps, legends, compasses, globes, and North and South Poles. My students have done many plays and puppet shows this year. We've worked on faiiry tales, poems biographies and letter writing. |
