Capital Improvement Plan

Every fiscal year the school district budgets money for the capital improvement plan.  These monies are used to repair, replace and upgrade our existing facilities.  This fiscal year, the budget for the capital improvement plan is $3,174,332.00 -- $2,487,104.00 was funded by the school district and the Arizona School Facilities Board provided the remaining $687,228.00.  Listed below are some of the projects these monies have funded during  this fiscal year.  These projects are scheduled through-out the year to take advantage of the summer breaks and recesses.  This allows us to replace roofs, change-out air conditioning units, and maintain the parking lots when the students are off.  Some projects do happen when the students are in class, but we strive to do the work before or after school hours so as not to interfere with the safe learning environment for the students and staff.
